These came about because I like to use every scrap of paper and these mini motifs filled my printing sheets perfectly and at first I was unsure what to do with them. Looking at my fireplace I thought of a decorative bunting and here they are. Already cut out for you, the D.I.Y Paper Bunting comes with approximately 14- 24 motif, depending on size, equal fronts and backs and the cotton. Using a glue stick, glue both sides of each motif and stick together along the string ensuring that they are bottom heavy, i.e the cotton is nearer the top. These look great over a fireplace or a bedstead.  I used cotton for its delicacy as it tends to disappear into the background and focus is on the motif. Made from 250g 80% recycled heavy paper. Because these are double sided they can hang in a window or in doorways and look the same from any view. Kept separate they can make twice the length of bunting, or be used as die cuts for card making or invites etc. Each kits easily makes 1.2m of bunting, twice if used individually. All the motif are taken from my linocuts and heavily influenced by Victorian decorations.
